With a name like Tyra Kest, the least popular girl in Rosemore Hills High School doesn’t have a very easy life. Her teachers treat her like she is “special” and her guardian is stricter than a military school supervisor. Her best friend, Phoebe, tries to brighten her everyday, but nothing ever makes the girl show much emotion. She has had guardian after guardian, but every time none of them would tell her about her origin, who were her parents and what happened to them. Specifically what happened to her.
When she is invited to the end-of-the-year party by her enemy and most popular kid in school, Missy, she promises her guardian that she won’t let herself fall into any emotions and won’t lose control. Things appear to go well until a strange girl shows up at the party and starts causing trouble. Not only does the girl involve Tyra and Phoebe, she also brings Tyra a feeling she cannot understand, nor can she shake it away. The feeling of familiarity. Who can explain this dark secret that Tyra and the strange girl share? Can Tyra find out who she is…and remain alive?
